Summary

CVE-2024-11330 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Custom CSS, JS & PHP plugin for WordPress. The issue stems from the plugin's use of add_query_arg and remove_query_arg functions without proper escaping in URLs, which can lead to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This vulnerability, present in all versions up to and including 2.3.0, enables unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts into pages. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires users to click on a specially crafted link, potentially leading to serious security consequences.
