Summary

CVE-2024-11230 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.6.46 are vulnerable to this issue. Attackers with Contributor-level access and above can exploit the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin, injecting arbitrary web scripts into pages. When a user accesses an injected page, the malicious scripts will execute. This vulnerability poses a significant security risk, allowing attackers to steal user data or perform other malicious actions.
