Summary

CVE-2024-11229 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the 코드엠샵 소셜톡 plugin for WordPress. In all versions up to and including 1.1.18, user-supplied attributes in the add_plus_friends and add_plus_talk shortcodes are not properly sanitized or escaped, enabling authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever an unsuspecting user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized actions.
