Summary

CVE-2024-11228 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WordPress plugin "워드프레스 결제 심플페이 – 우커머스 결제 플러그인" (WooCommerce Simple Pay for PayPal) in versions up to 5.1.4. The issue lies in the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the plugin's pafw_instant_payment shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
