Summary
CVE-2024-11201 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the myCred plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce. This issue, present in versions up to 2.7.5.2, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts via the mycred_send shortcode. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, enabling attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts upon user access to injected pages.
