Summary

CVE-2024-11195 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Email Subscription Popup plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2.22, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The susceptibility arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's print_email_subscribe_form shortcode. When a user accesses an injected page, the injected scripts will be executed, posing a significant security risk.
