Summary
CVE-2024-11181 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Greenshift plugin for WordPress. This Information Exposure issue, occurring in all versions up to 9.9.9.3, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to access data from password-protected, private, or draft posts. The vulnerability lies in the 'wp_reusable_render' shortcode, which fails to impose adequate restrictions on which posts can be included. As a result, attackers can potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. WordPress users are urged to update the plugin to the latest patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
