Summary

CVE-2024-11119 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the BNE Gallery Extended plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.2.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages using the plugin's 'gallery' shortcode. This vulnerability, caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, results in the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever an injected page is accessed.
