Summary

CVE-2024-11093 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the SG Helper plugin for WordPress in version 1.0. This issue arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping during SVG file uploads. As a result, authenticated attackers with Administrator-level access can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will be executed whenever a user accesses the affected SVG file. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unintended content being displayed or even site takeover.
