The issue stems from insufficient escaping of user-supplied parameters and a lack of preparation in existing SQL queries, leading to time-based SQL Injection. Attackers with Administrator-level access can manipulate the 'post_id' parameter to inject additional SQL queries, potentially extracting sensitive data from the database.
