Summary
CVE-2024-10958 is a vulnerability affecting the WP Photo Album Plus plugin for WordPress. The issue allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes due to the plugin's failure to properly validate input before running do_shortcode. This vulnerability is present in all versions up to and including 8.8.08.007. Attackers can exploit this flaw by manipulating the getshortcodedrenderedfenodelay AJAX action, potentially resulting in serious security implications. WordPress users are urged to update the WP Photo Album Plus plugin to a version free from this vulnerability.
