Summary
CVE-2024-10932 is a vulnerability affecting the Backup Migration plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the 'recursive_unserialize_replace' function, which is susceptible to PHP Object Injection due to deserialization of untrusted input. This vulnerability enables unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object and potentially execute arbitrary code or delete files by chaining the exploit with a POP (Return-Oriented Programming) command. The administrator must create a staging site to trigger the exploit and apply the necessary patch or update to the plugin to mitigate this risk.
