Summary

CVE-2024-10891 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Save as PDF Plugin by Pdfcrowd for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 4.2.1, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. Contributor-level authenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious web scripts into the plugin's 'save_as_pdf_pdfcrowd' shortcode. These scripts will execute whenever an unsuspecting user accesses an injected page, potentially resulting in data theft, unauthorized account access, or other malicious activities.
