Summary
CVE-2024-10887 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the NiceJob plugin for WordPress. This issue, which exists in all versions up to 3.6.5, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into several plugin shortcodes (nicejob-lead, nicejob-review, nicejob-engage, nicejob-badge, nicejob-stories). The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, resulting in the execution of injected scripts whenever a user accesses an affected page.
