Summary

CVE-2024-10886 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Tribute Testimonials plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.0.4, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability lies in the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the 'tribute_testimonials_slider' shortcode. As a result, any page containing an injected shortcode will execute the malicious scripts whenever accessed by a user.
