Summary
CVE-2024-10882 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce – Lite plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the use of add_query_arg and remove_query_arg functions without proper escaping in URLs, present in all versions up to 2.8.0. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts into pages, potentially tricking users into clicking malicious links and executing the code on their own systems. The vulnerability can lead to data theft, session hijacking, or other unintended consequences. Update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
