Summary

CVE-2024-10877 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the AFI – The Easiest Integration Plugin for WordPress. This issue stems from the plugin's use of unescaped add_query_arg and remove_query_arg functions in URL handling, present in all versions up to 1.92.0. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts by tricking users into clicking on specially crafted links. Successful exploitation can result in arbitrary code execution that could lead to serious security consequences such as data theft, website defacement, or further attacks on the affected WordPress site. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
