Summary

CVE-2024-10832 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Posti Shipping plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.10.3 are impacted by this issue. The root cause is the lack of proper nonce validation on the generate_notices_html() function. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can inject malicious web scripts into a WordPress site by manipulating a site administrator into executing a malicious action like clicking on a specially crafted link. This vulnerability poses a serious threat to websites using the Posti Shipping plugin and requires immediate patching to mitigate the risk.
