Details
Summary
CVE-2024-10815 is a vulnerability affecting the PostLists WordPress plugin before version 2.0.3. The issue lies in the plugin's failure to properly escape the $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] parameter, leading to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. Old web browsers that do not provide adequate protection against XSS attacks are particularly susceptible to this issue. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized script injection and potential data theft or site takeover. WordPress users running the affected plugin version are advised to update to the latest release to mitigate this risk.
