Summary
CVE-2024-10789 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the WP User Profile Avatar plugin for WordPress, version 1.0.5 and below. This issue stems from insufficient nonce validation on the wpupa_user_admin() function, allowing unauthenticated attackers to manipulate plugin settings through forged requests. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires administrators to perform a certain action, such as clicking a malicious link, granting the attacker unauthorized access to the plugin's functionality.
