Summary
CVE-2024-10722 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting phpipam/phpipam version 1.5.2. Malicious scripts can be injected into the 'Description' field of custom fields in the 'IP RELATED MANAGEMENT' section. This weakness exposes sensitive data to theft, accounts to compromise, and facilitates malware distribution, website defacement, content manipulation, and phishing attacks. The vulnerability is rectified in version 1.7.0.
