Summary

CVE-2024-10540 is a vulnerability affecting the Appointment Booking Calendar Plugin and Scheduling Plugin - BookingPress for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to conduct SQL Injection attacks by manipulating the 'service' parameter in the bookingpress_form shortcode. The vulnerability stems from insufficient escaping of user-supplied input and a lack of proper preparation of SQL queries, enabling attackers to append extra SQL queries to existing ones. Consequently, they can extract sensitive data from the database.
