Summary
CVE-2024-10625 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce Support Ticket System plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the insufficient file path validation within the delete_tmp_uploaded_file() function, which allows unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server. This vulnerability poses a serious risk, as deletion of specific files, such as wp-config.php, may lead to remote code execution and subsequent exploitation. All versions of the plugin up to, and including, 17.7 are reportedly affected.
