Summary
CVE-2024-10584 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the DirectoryPress plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 3.6.16. This issue arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping during SVG file uploads. Authenticated attackers with author-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses the affected SVG file. If the DirectoryPress Frontend is installed, this vulnerability can be exploited by unauthenticated users.
