Summary

CVE-2024-10583 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Popup Maker plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 1.20.2. This issue arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of the ‘post_title’ parameter. Consequently, authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will be executed when an unsuspecting user views an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
