Summary

CVE-2024-10542 is a vulnerability affecting the Spam protection, Anti-Spam, FireWall plugin by CleanTalk for WordPress. The flaw, present in all versions up to 6.43.2, allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass authorization through reverse DNS spoofing on the checkWithoutToken function. Successful exploitation enables unauthorized plugin installation, and if another vulnerable plugin is installed and activated, remote code execution is possible.
