Summary
CVE-2024-10521 is a vulnerability affecting the WordPress Contact Forms plugin by Cimatti. The issue lies in the plugin's process_bulk_action function, which is missing or incorrectly implemented nonce validation. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can execute Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks, tricking site administrators into deleting forms by performing a malicious action, such as clicking on a malicious link. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.9.2. It is essential that users upgrade to the latest version or remove the outdated plugin to mitigate this risk.
