CVE-2024-10492

Summary

CVE-2024-10492 is a vulnerability discovered in Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. An attacker with high privileges can potentially read sensitive information from an unintended Vault file. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have previously gained high access to the Keycloak server and created a resource, such as an LDAP provider configuration, with the ability to set up a Vault read file. The read file will only reveal whether the targeted file exists or not, granting partial information to the attacker.
