CVE-2024-10404

Summary

CVE-2024-10404 is a vulnerability affecting Brocade SANnav before version 2.3.1b. The CalInvocationHandler component in this software logs sensitive information in clear text, potentially allowing authenticated, local attackers to view Brocade Fabric OS switch sensitive data. This issue goes beyond passwords, as attackers with administrative privileges can also retrieve SNMP responses containing AuthSecret and PrivSecret. The root cause is an incomplete fix for a previous vulnerability, CVE-2024-29952.
