Summary
CVE-2024-10179 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the Slickstream: Engagement and Conversions plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.4.4, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's slick-grid shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to unintended actions or data exposure.
