Summary
CVE-2024-10168 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce Use constructor to create tables plugin for WordPress. This issue, occurring in all versions up to 1.0.6.4, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability lies in the plugin's woot_button shortcode, where insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes contribute to the security flaw. Attackers can exploit this weakness by injecting arbitrary web scripts, which execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
