Summary
CVE-2024-10034 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Gallery Blocks with Lightbox plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.2.4.2, allows authenticated attackers with Editor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the gallery link text parameter. Successful exploitation enables attackers to execute their scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to unintended functionality, data theft, or even full website takeover.
