Summary

CVE-2024-10017 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the PJW Mime Config plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.0, allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to upload SVG files with malicious scripts. The plugin fails to properly sanitize user input and escape output, resulting in the execution of these scripts whenever a user accesses the affected SVG file.
