Summary
CVE-2024-10015 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the ConvertCalculator plugin for WordPress. The flaw, present in all versions up to 1.1.1, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'id' and 'type' parameters. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access or higher, to inject malicious web scripts that get executed whenever an unsuspecting user accesses an affected page. Successful exploitation could lead to various attack vectors, including data theft, session hijacking, and even complete website takeover.
