Summary

CVE-2023-6386 is a denial-of-service vulnerability that affects various versions of GitLab CE and EE. Specifically, all versions of GitLab before 16.6.7, 16.7 before 16.7.5, and 16.8 before 16.8.2 are vulnerable. An attacker can exploit this weakness by causing excessive resource usage in the GitLab instance. Consequently, the GitLab service experiences degradation due to the spike in resource requirements.
