CVE-2023-52335

Summary

CVE-2023-52335 is a new SQL injection vulnerability affecting Advantech iView's ConfigurationServlet. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to disclose sensitive information, including stored credentials, by manipulating user inputs that are not properly validated during SQL query construction. The vulnerability lies in the parsing process of the column_value element, which is used to construct SQL queries without sufficient validation. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending maliciously crafted input to the affected system, leading to information disclosure and potential further compromise. This vulnerability was previously identified as ZDI-CAN-17863.
