Summary

CVE-2023-52334 is a Directory Traversal Information Disclosure vulnerability affecting Allegra's downloadAttachmentGlobal action. An attacker, after gaining required authentication, can exploit this flaw by supplying an unvalidated user-supplied path for file operations. This vulnerability allows the attacker to disclose sensitive information, including stored credentials, potentially leading to further compromise. The registration mechanism in Allegra can be used to create a user with sufficient privileges to exploit this issue, which was identified as ZDI-CAN-22507.
