CVE-2023-51647 is a Directory Traversal Remote Code Execution vulnerability affecting Allegra's saveInlineEdit method. This flaw arises due to insufficient validation of user-supplied file paths, enabling remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations, gaining LOCAL SERVICE privileges. Although exploitation requires authentication, the authentication mechanism can be bypassed. Discovered as ZDI-CAN-22528, this vulnerability poses a significant risk to Allegra users.
