Summary

CVE-2023-48651 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Concrete CMS version 9 before 9.2.3. This issue allows an attacker to execute a Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack through the /ccm/system/dialogs/file/delete/1/submit endpoint. CSRF vulnerabilities enable an attacker to manipulate a user's session unknowingly, leading to unintended actions. In this case, a malicious actor could trick a user into deleting files or performing other unauthorized actions within the CMS system. Users should upgrade to Concrete CMS 9.2.3 or later to mitigate this risk.
