Summary
CVE-2023-45872 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Qt versions before 6.2.11, 6.3.x through 6.6.x up to 6.6.1. The issue arises when a QML image assumes an image is an SVG document, but it turns out to be something else, causing the application to crash instead. This assumption and subsequent crash can be exploited, leading to a denial-of-service condition.
