Summary

CVE-2023-40579 is a vulnerability affecting OpenFGA, an authorization engine used for developer access control. Versions 1.3.0 and earlier are susceptible to an authorization bypass when utilizing the ListObjects API. This issue arises when specific models, including those with expressions of type rel1 from type1, are used. OpenFGA's customers using these models are at risk. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.3.1.
