Summary

CVE-2023-39948 is a vulnerability affecting eprosima Fast DDS, a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Before versions 2.10.0 and 2.6.5, Fast DDS fails to catch the `BadParamException` thrown by Fast CDR. This oversight can be exploited remotely to cause any Fast DDS process to crash. Versions 2.10.0 and 2.6.5 have been released with a patch that resolves this issue.
