Summary
CVE-2023-39945 is a vulnerability affecting eprosima Fast DDS, a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard. Prior to versions 2.11.0, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5, an unhandled `BadParamException` in fastcdr component results in a crash of fastdds upon receiving a maliciously crafted data submessage sent to the PDP port. Versions with the patches released for versions 2.11.0, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5 mitigate this issue, making it essential for users to update their software to ensure system stability.
