CVE-2023-39943 is a vulnerability affecting Ashlar-Vellum Cobalt versions before v12 SP2 Build (1204.200). This issue arises from the application's insufficient validation of user-supplied data when processing XE files. As a consequence, an attacker can exploit this out-of-bounds write vulnerability and execute arbitrary code within the current process.
