Summary

CVE-2023-39521 is a vulnerability affecting Tuleap, an open-source software development and collaboration suite. In Tuleap Community Edition versions prior to 14.11.99.28 and Tuleap Enterprise Edition versions prior to 14.10-6 and 14.11-3, there is a failure to properly escape user-supplied content in the "card fields," which can be viewed in the kanban and PV2 apps. This weakness allows an agile dashboard administrator, upon deleting a maliciously labeled kanban, to execute uncontrolled code. The affected versions of Tuleap Community Edition and Enterprise Edition have been patched with fixes for this issue.
