Summary
CVE-2023-39007 is a vulnerability affecting the OPNsense Cron component in versions before 23.7 of the Community Edition and before 23.4.2 of the Business Edition. This issue allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks through the openAction function in app/controllers/OPNsense/Cron/ItemController.php, by exploiting vulnerable uses of the '/ui/cron/item/open' URL. Successful exploitation could lead to unintended execution of malicious scripts within a user's browser, potentially exposing sensitive data or taking control of the affected system.
