Summary
CVE-2023-38225 is a Use After Free vulnerability that puts Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.003.20244 and earlier, as well as 20.005.30467 and earlier, at risk. This issue allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user, once they have managed to make the software use a previously freed memory location. This exploit requires user interaction, which means a victim must open a specially crafted malicious file to be affected.
