Summary
CVE-2023-37822 is a vulnerability affecting the Eufy Homebase 2 before firmware version 3.3.4.1h. The dedicated wireless network created by this device for its ecosystem serves as a proxy to users' primary networks, but the WPA2-PSK for this network is generated based on the serial number alone. This flawed process makes the WPA2-PSK susceptible to offline brute-force attacks, allowing an attacker in close proximity to the dedicated wireless network to gain unauthorized access to the end user's primary network.
