Summary
CVE-2023-34392 is a Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability impacting the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories SEL-5037 SEL Grid Configurator. This issue allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on managed devices when an authorized device operator is present. The vulnerability could potentially lead to significant security consequences, as detailed in the Instruction Manual Appendix A and E from the 20230615 release. The affected SEL-5037 SEL Grid Configurator versions are those prior to 4.5.0.20.
