Summary
CVE-2023-33865 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting RenderDoc before version 1.27. This issue permits local privilege escalation through a symlink attack. The vulnerability arises due to RenderDoc's reliance on the /tmp/RenderDoc directory, which disregards ownership checks.
